Stichting Geschiedenis van de Overheidsfinanciën (History of Public Finance Foundation)

The History of Public Finance Foundation was established in 1991 with the aim of advancing research into the history of public finance, preferably using an interdisciplinary approach. The foundation achieves its aim by:

  • organising meetings, lectures and excursions
  • publishing publications, or having them published, on its own initiative or in collaboration with others
  • fostering and maintaining contact and partnerships with government institutions, universities, museums, historical societies and other institutions (in the Netherlands and abroad) that are active in the field of the history of public finance or related areas.

 

You can become a member of the foundation for €11.50. You will then be invited for lectures that include drinks. To join the foundation simply send an e-mail to sgvdo@bdmuseum.nl. You can transfer payment of your membership fee to the foundation’s ING bank account NL84 INGB 0006261410 in the name of Stichting Geschiedenis van de Overheidsfinanciën stating your name and address or email address.
